Book Recommendation!

I haven’t had one of these in awhile.

I’ve noticed that during any kind of an occasion, whether it be my birthday or Christmas, someone would always give me a book to read as a present. Of course others would throw in money, a purse, or a cute blouse, but for the past few years, people have been giving me books to read and also a handful of notebooks to write in, specifically for noting anything that comes to mind throughout my walk with the Lord in my life. I love it! When I had my 16th birthday celebration, I received this book (shown above) and I haven’t read a single page until just a few days ago after finding it in one of the drawers of my desk that I seldom open. Thankfully, I found it and decided to read it.

I’ve been reading this daily for the past week and I hope that I will continue to read it, allowing myself to meditate on this very thirst of Jesus. This is a great book (from what I’ve been reading so far) and I recommend it for anyone interested in truly thirsting for the Lord. It’s not a regular book that a person would read on a regular basis. It’s suggested that you read the words to the day it corresponds with then reflect and pray afterwards, based on what was read. It’s so exciting to me, so exciting that I have to force myself not to peek into the next day’s reading to see what it’s about :)
