Day 2: Recent Design Opportunity

This past month I’ve taken on the responsibility to design the home of two dear friends of mine (well two rooms, really). It has been well over two years since my graduation and I haven’t gotten my hands on a good project since then so I was very excited about starting this! Although I am very much so at peace with my current vocation as a coordinator of youth ministry, there have been many times when God placed certain people and/or moments in my life that enabled me to recall and fuel my passion for interior design even more. Today I am grateful for this opportunity because all throughout this ongoing project, I am constantly reminded of the special set of gifts God blessed me with when it comes to design. And also, to embrace any opportunities that come into my radar by way of His plans. Don’t let the gifts He blesses you with (in abundance, too) to go to waste, even if they are temporary gigs. If He wills it, make it happen.
